A decision from the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board on whether jockey Danny Nikolic will be forced to comply with an order from Racing Victoria stewards and hand over his phone for inspection will be made next Tuesday at 2pm.

Last Friday, the RAD Board reserved there decision on the matter.

Nikolic has been advised by his legal counsel and has been supported by the Victorian Jockeys’ Association, in refusing to hand over his phone to stewards.

Instead Nikolic provided stewards with telephone records from his mobile phone.

Last week stewards also decided to defer their hearing of a second charge against Nikolic.

That being on January 1 at Flemington, Nikolic used his mobile for the purpose of contacting professional punter and commission agent Neville Clements without permission of the stewards.
