Griffon was a late withdrawal from the Warwick Farm race meeting on Saturday 6 March 2010 when an endoscopic examination revealed mild respiratory discharge after the horse coughed during morning exercise.

Stable representative Mr James Cummings today reported to Stewards that Griffon worked well over a 1000 metres on Monday 8 March 2010 at Royal Randwick training centre and a veterinary clearance was issued by Dr C. O'Sullivan of Randwick Equine Centre subsequent to the gallop.

Griffon holds an engagement in Race 2 at the Canterbury Park race meeting on Wednesday 10 March 2010 and will be the subject of an examination by a Racing NSW Veterinarian upon arrival on course.
